Text Box: The SOMFY LT 28-H1 was used after 2001. It is a great low voltage motor that rarely ever fails. Heat is the hardest on these motors, sometimes tripping the thermal override. Somfy LT 28-H1 low voltage motor. Replacements available but rarely needed.

Motor Cartridge was used in the 2001motorized Silhouette.Text Box: The 2001 motor cartridge has an IR port & a power port. Heat is the hardest on these motors, chip boards that have melted solder.

Drive Gear and motor from the 2001 motorized Silhouette.Text Box: The 2001 motor never seemed to wear out. Problems always lead back to the cartridge or a bad transformer.
